oy That Returns embodies the moment joy begins to bloom again — softly, unexpectedly, beautifully.
This one-of-a-kind hat is hand-dyed in warm coral-pink tones with expressive plum markings that rise along the crown like little bursts of color returning after a long winter. The brim shifts gently into a vivid violet-mauve, creating a gradient that feels both feminine and full of life.
Wrapped around the crown is a layered pairing of reclaimed sari silk: a deep cobalt ribbon for boldness and a soft, textured ivory ribbon beneath it for contrast and grounding. Together, they echo the way joy often comes back in layers — bright moments woven with gentler ones.
Tucked beneath the ribbon are two hand-cut fragments from one of my original paintings, adding texture, color, and a piece of my own story to the design. A silver infinity Hope pin anchors the entire piece with the reminder that joy always circles back.
